How to begin a new life with Jesus:

God really wants to establish a close and personal relationship with you, so that you can enjoy the new life that He promises.

1. God loves you and created you so that you would be able to enjoy a personal and close relationship with Him.

2. We are separated from God because of SIN, that’s why we can’t know Him, never mind experience His love and the new life He has for us.

3. Jesus Christ is God’s answer to our SIN problem. He offered Himself and died in our place. It’s only through Jesus Christ that we can know God, have a personal relationship with Him and experience His love completely.

But, it’s not just enough to know these facts…

4. We need to receive Jesus Christ into our lives as our Saviour and Lord. It’s only then that we can know God and experience His love.

To receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour you need to repent. This means you need to stop trusting in your own strength, believe that Jesus wants to come into your life, forgive your sins and give you the abundant new life that He has prepared for you.

The following prayer is an example of how you can receive Him as your Saviour and Lord right now:

“Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and I ask you to forgive me. Thank you for dying in my place, washing away my sins. Please come into my life and transform me into the person that you want me to be. Thank you Lord Jesus, amen.”
