If you are excited by this ministry and would like to get involved here are several suggestions of what you can do.

Our UK and Ireland magazine Link Up is produced three times a year, containing up-to-date reports from our various fields as well as prayer requests from all our missionaries. You can CLICK HERE to download the latest version or contact the office to receive it by post.

Each of our missionaries produces regular news letters which will enable you to pray informatively for them and their ministry.  Send your contact details to the office and they will be forwarded to the relevant missionary.

BCM World is produced by the International Office in America.  This has several fascinating articles about BCM’s ministry around the world.

BCM relies on the gifts of churches and individuals to support our work and the missionaries who serve with us.  If you would like to support the ministry of BCM International UK financially please CLICK HERE to see several ways to make your gift instantly and securely online.
If you want your gift to go towards a specific missionary or project please email us with details of how you wish your gift to be allocated.
Alternatively contact the office for a donations form and return it to the office or send a cheque made payable to BCM International UK.

Don’t forget that if you are a UK Taxpayer BCM can claim Gift Aid on your donations.  This increases your gift by 28% at no extra cost to you.

BCM Short-term ministry opportunities are used as a tool for teaching and training individuals for a lifetime of service, whether serving the local church or an unknown people group.  Both here in the UK and around the world we have several types of ministry opportunities ranging from 1 week to 2 years: camps, 5-day Bible Clubs, schools work, cultural exchange, street evangelism, construction work, missionary support staff, and much more.  Short-term workers need to provide funding to support them in their work with BCM.

You will find a selection of our international opportunities available on the International website but if you are particularly interested in working in the UK, please contact us or look at our regional websites for more specific details of local opportunities
.

BCM UK has several long-term opportunities available.  Please note that the vacancies are not salaried positions.  Missionaries need to raise their own support through the faithful giving of others.  Workers are classified as self-employed for tax purposes.   Candidates should have some theological training and previous experience of working with children and/or teenagers.  They must be self-motivated but also able to work as part of a team.  For an application form and/or more information, please contact the office.

BCM UK National Director

The primary responsibility of the UK National Director is to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care for individual missionaries serving the Lord with BCM in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland (UK Missionaries).  In addition s/he is to assist the UK Missionaries in determining before God goals, plans and strategy for ministry.  With this comes the responsibility of helping each missionary in developing their personal walk with the Lord, as well as their spiritual gifts and abilities, in order that they can be of maximum use and effectiveness in their sphere of influence and ministry. The UK Director is also responsible for promoting unity of purpose among the workers in the UK.

Children’s Ministries Co-ordinator (Northern Ireland)

BCM are looking for someone to manage and co-ordinate children’s ministries within Northern Ireland.  This person will also aim to start new ministries – Bible Clubs, Bible studies etc.  It is envisaged that the ministries co-ordinator will take the lead and work in these new openings with the aim of other workers, helpers and volunteers taking them over, allowing the ministries co-ordinator to ‘plant’ elsewhere.

Youth Worker (West Central Scotland)

This position includes ministering to 12-18 year olds and developing programmes to reach young people who have grown -up in the Bible Clubs and various BCM ministries to children in the area.  Workers would develop an outreach ministry to young people who are not connected with any other Church ministry at present.

Children’s Worker (West Central Scotland)

Workers will further develop existing weekly clubs in schools and churches, develop Bible Clubs within the local school system at lunch times and after school, encourage local churches in developing clubs and using BCM material, and train volunteer workers to take over these clubs so development may be moved to other areas.

Children’s Worker (Weston-super-Mare, England)

BCM England urgently needs at least two more workers to help expand our work within primary schools by running lunchtime and after-school Bible Clubs and leading collective worship.

Youth Worker (Weston-super-Mare, England)

We would like to appoint a full-time worker to work with local churches providing clubs and Bible Studies for teenagers, and to organise and direct a Bible Club Teen Camp each summer.

Teacher Trainers (UK)

BCM is looking to recruit both full-time missionaries and volunteer workers to assist with running In Step with the Master Teacher training courses around the UK.  You must currently be involved in leading children’s ministry and should have at least two years’ experience.
