Missions Support

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,"
Matthew 28:19 (NIV)

Primarily

Many mission organisations are supported by prayer and giving through Annalong Presbyterian Church, but the primary focus of our support would be those missionaries who were actually sent out from our own church to serve abroad.

In 1998, Carl and Ruth Somerville left with their young family of three to serve with BCM International in Lisbon, Portugal. They had previously been serving as missionaries at the BCM International Camp at Mullartown on the outskirts of Annalong.

Subsequently, Andrew and Talitha McKibbin, who had first met while serving aboard the ship Logos II, felt led to serve a second term onboard. And so, they also left Annalong to join the ship in Brazil in the Autumn of 1999 after helping familiarise completely new crew members at the De Bron new recruit conference in Holland.

Also

Our church also supports a number of the very many deserving Christian organisations which exist to help to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throught our world, and who also help to ease the suffering and hardship of those who are less well off than we are here in Northern Ireland. We have included links to the online websites of some of the organisations whom we feel led to support.
